California Privacy Notice

This California Privacy Notice supplements the Sporty's Privacy Policy and it applies solely to residents of the State of California. It describes how Sportsman's Market Inc. ("Sporty's," "we," "us," "our,") collects, uses, and discloses personal information about California residents, and the rights available to you under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA").

1. Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information in the categories listed below. We have collected each of these categories within the preceding 12 months.

     • Identifiers: Name, postal address, email address, telephone number, IP address, device identifiers, account username.

     • Commercial Information: Purchase history, products browsed or added to cart, catalog request records.

     • Internet or other electronic network activity: Browsing history on our websites, search queries, interaction with advertisements, cookie identifiers, session replay data, keystroke and mouse movement data.

     • Geolocation Data: General location inferred from IP address.

     • Inferences: Profiles reflecting product preferences and purchase likelihood drawn from the above categories.

     • Communications: Records of customer service interactions by phone, email, or chat, which may be recorded.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following business and commercial purposes:

     • Processing and fulfilling orders

     • Providing customer service and responding to inquiries

     • Sending order confirmations, shipping notifications, and service-related communications

     • Sending promotional emails and catalog mailings (where you have not opted out)

     • Personalizing website content and advertising

     • Analyzing website usage and improving our products and services

     • Detecting and preventing fraud and security incidents

     • Complying with legal obligations

3. Disclosure of Personal Information

We disclose personal information to the following categories of third parties.

     • Service providers: Companies that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processors, shipping carriers, email service providers, and customer service platforms. These parties are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than performing services for us.

     • Advertising and analytics partners: Third-party providers of advertising, analytics, and tracking technologies, including but not limited to Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook), and similar platforms. These parties may receive identifiers and behavioral data through cookies. pixels, and similar technologies placed on our websites. This disclosure may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law. See Section 5 for your opt-out rights.

     • Direct mail partners: We may share name and postal address (but not email address or phone number) with carefully screened third-party companies whose products may interest you. You may opt out at any time.

     • Law enforcement and legal process: When required by law, court order, or legal process.

4. Tracking Technologies

Our websites use cookies, pixels, web beacons, session replay tools, and similar technologies. These technologies may collect IP addresses, device identifiers, browsing behavior, and other information about your interactions with our websites. Some of these technologies are operated by third parties who may use the information collected for their own purposes, including targeted advertising.

Sporty's honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If a browser or browser extension transmits a GPC signal when visiting our websites, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information, and will suppress third-party tracking technologies accordingly. No additional action is required.

Cookies may also be managed through browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our websites.

5. Your California Privacy Rights

As a California resident, you have the following rights under CCPA/CPRA:

     • Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for which it is used, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared.

     • Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. 

     • Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

     • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may submit this request using any of the methods described in Section 6 below, or by enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser.

   
     • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under this Notice. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

6. How to Submit a Privacy Request

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we require additional time, we will notify you of the reason and extension period.

To verify your identity, we may ask you to provide information that matches the records we maintain for you. We will only use information provided in the verification request to verify your identity.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent's authorization of your identity directly.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

The California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") gives residents of the state of California the right to prevent businesses from selling (or otherwise transferring) their personal information. This right is subject to certain exemptions. For example, it does not apply to information that we share with certain third-party service providers so that they can perform business functions for us or on our behalf.

In accordance with the CCPA, California residents may opt-out of any future exchange, rental, or sale of their personal information or record a preference that Sporty's not rent, sell, or otherwise transfer their data in the future. You can submit this request in any one of the following ways.
