Here is a basic recipe for making a classic Bloody Mary:
Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 oz vodka
• 3 oz tomato juice
• 1/2 oz lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 2-3 dashes hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
• Pinch of celery salt
• Pinch of black pepper
• Ice
• Celery stalk, lemon wedge, and/or olives for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a shaker or mixing glass, combine the vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt, and black pepper.
2. Fill the
with ice and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds, until well chilled.
3. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.
4. Garnish with a celery stalk, lemon wedge, and/or olives, if desired.
5. Adjust the seasoning to your liking, adding more hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce as needed.
6. Enjoy your delicious Bloody Mary!
Keep in mind that this is just a basic recipe, and you can customize it to your liking by adjusting the amount of each ingredient, adding other spices or flavorings, or using different types of garnishes. Some people also like to add a splash of pickle juice, horseradish, or even beer to their Bloody Marys.
