Shelves are height-adjustable in 1" increments and are tested to hold 350 lbs. The chrome-plated finish is durable and rust-resistant. They are NSF-certified for kitchen or pantry use, but strong enough for the garage, workshop, or attic and attractive enough for a home office or basement.
