TWA Super Connie Aluminum Model

Sleek and beautiful, the Super Connie featured a body design that was very unique from any other aircraft and set a number of speed and distance records while being propeller driven, four engine aircraft. Used as a civil airliner mainly it also saw action as military and civilian air transport. Of all the airliners ever built in America, the Connie has to be one of the most admired. This highly detailed Model features an aluminum body, see-through cockpit, propellers that spin and 18 see-through passenger windows. The ailerons, tail rudder and horizontal stabilizer have moveable parts, and the engine detail featuring etched metal sheets with rivets is hand-made from aluminum. Included display stand requires simply assemble. Model measures about 27”l x 5.1”h with a 29.6” wingspan.
