You can even use the utility loop to hold the speaker with your finger. Designed to resist twisting, the loop won’t spin or turn when it’s hanging.

Waterproof & dustproof.
Rigorously tested to meet an IP67 rating, the SoundLink Flex is waterproof. Dunk it in water, and it’ll keep on playing. If it’s dirty, rinse it off with water. It even floats, so it won’t sink to the ocean floor if it falls off your paddleboard. The speaker is also protected against dust, so you don’t need to worry if it gets sandy at the beach. To ensure further protection from water, dust, and debris, the transducer and passive radiators underneath the steel grille are built with rugged, waterproof materials. These components are sealed tightly to the speaker’s housing, keeping out water and dust without disrupting your sound.

To charge your SoundLink Flex, connect the charging cord (USB-C® to USB-A) to a USB port on your computer or to an outlet using a USB power supply (not included). The charging port is on the opposite side of the utility loop, staying out of the way in any position.

You can also pair your SoundLink Flex with select Bose smart speakers and Bose smart soundbars. Use the Bose Music app to pair your SoundLink Flex with compatible Bose smart speakers and smart soundbars and play them all in sync at home — and beyond. The connected devices must stay within the typical Bluetooth wireless range (30 feet) of each other to remain connected. Walls and construction materials may affect reception.
